Our client is the Belgian branch of a large global professional services group with more than 50,000 people worldwide. The legal practice in Belgium has grown quickly to around 65 professionals.
The firm covers a wide range of legal areas and is now looking for a Business Development Manager to structure and lead its commercial and marketing activities.

The firm is now strengthening and organizing its Business Development & Marketing function. Today, BD is managed directly by senior leadership, and the goal is to centralize and professionalize these activities under a dedicated manager.
Main responsibilities include:
- Lead and coordinate the marketing team (3 people)
- Build and structure BD processes for the firm.
- Support Partners in client development and follow-up.
- Prepare and improve proposals, pitches and go-to-market initiatives.
- Ensure consistent communication and branding across all offices.
- Work closely with senior leadership on commercial strategy.
- Collaborate with teams across Belgium and visit different offices when needed.
Profiel
- Experience in Business Development, ideally in a professional services environment (legal, consulting, ...)
- Ability to build structure, implement processes and work in an organized way.
- Comfortable working with Partners and senior stakeholders.
- Experience leading or guiding a small team.
- Strong communication skills in English. French and/or Dutch is a plus.
- Proactive, hands-on, and able to work independently.
- Positive mindset and ability to adapt in a fast-moving environment.
