Ideatec is looking for a Hardware & Firmware Developer / Designer
Ideatec is a company that designs and manufactures on board electronic products (controllers and sirens) for emergency and intervention vehicles.
For more than 25 years, Ideatec has been offering products such as touch
screen consoles,
onfigurable central units and high performance sirens. Its R&D department is responsible for
the design of electronic boards for:
• user interfaces (touchscreen consoles, button consoles),
• on-board central units,
• control interfaces (heating, ventilation, etc.)
• siren modules (generator/amplifier).
The embedded firmware is also developed by the R&D team and is subject to continuous evolution and improvement.
Ideatec has become a reference in the controller market in more than 20 countries and innovation is part of its DNA.

Hardware & Firmware Developer / Designer
Description de la fonction
- New product development
- Improvement of existing products
- Participation in the development of specifications
- Participation in the definition of technological orientations
- Technical customer support
- Contact with PCB subcontractors and management of technical files made available to them
- Creation of test benches and procedures for validation
Profil
- Industrial Electronics Engineer or Electronics Engineer A1 (M/F/X)
- Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in hardware development: schematic, BOM creation, PCB design (Altium)
- Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in software development: C and C++
- Knowledge of project management
- Creative, able to propose innovative solutions
- Ability to clearly communicate technical conceptsLanguages: English, French, another language is an asset
- Organized, priority management, methodical and rigorous in order to achieve objectives focused on customer satisfaction
- Self motivated, versatile and dynamic, able to work in a team
- Interest in the automotive sector is an asset
- Interest in mechanical 3D design is an asset
