Chief Accountant
Description de la fonction
Your main responsibilities as a Chief Accountant will be:
- Closing processes for month-end, quarter-end, and year-end
- Management of routine accounting tasks
- Operating expense analysis and budget variance analysis
- General ledger reconciliation
- Monitoring production control, such as purchase price variances
- Updating the fixed asset register and handling depreciation
- Managing monthly accruals and provisions
- Develop the annual budget, forecast, and mid-term plan
- Coordinating the preparation of statutory accounts and tax returns
- Implement and enforce appropriate accounting methods, policies, and principles
Profil
About you:
- You have a bachelor's degree in accountancy
- You have 10 years' previous experience and proven track record as an A-Z accountant or in a senior accounting role
- You are fluent in Dutch and have a good knowledge of French and English
- You are analytical and have strong problem-solving skills
