Job description

As a Supply Chain Assistant, you plan orders received from our customers, efficiently and accurately in accordance with agreed customer and business requirements.

You will directly interact with Customers, Logistic suppliers, Sales Managers and other key functional teams e.g. Product Planning, Logistics, Site Loading Teams, Technical, Finance & Credit Control Teams.

• You are the focal point for our Logistics supplier;

• You liaise with Sales and Local Planning to determine acceptability of terms and conditions;

• You will be handling orders in an accurate and timely manner ensuring that needs are fully met;

• You ensure that all movements from the Production or Storage Sites are made with correct documentation and declarations, particularly for hazardous goods;

• You will participate in collaboration conference calls;

• You liaise with Freight Forwarding Company and Tank Operators to ensure effective and efficient despatch and freight forwarding on an operational basis;

• You ensure KPI data such as customer complaints, non-conformances;

• You provide input and advice on related processes in projects and meetings as required;

• You update and simplify operational procedures and processes;

• You help where required to other members of the team.


• You have a bachelor degree in Business Administration / Logistics Management / Marketing/ Sales, …or equivalent job experience;

• We are looking for a candidate who is hands -on, result driven, customer focused, and who has competencies such as prioritisation, attention to details, managing deadlines and planning;

• You master efficient and good communication as this is important to ensure the required internal & external service;

• You are willing to join a start-up team;

• IT literacy is a key requirement

• You have knowledge of Export processes;

• Knowledge of SAP is big plus

• Language requirement is fluency in English (written and spoken)
