Senior HR Manager

Paulig is a family-owned international group in the food & beverage industry; noted for its high-quality products such as coffee, food concepts, spices, plant-based products and snacks. Paulig’s portfolio includes strong brands; Paulig, Santa Maria, Risenta, Gold & Green and Poco Loco. The Group has about 2,100 employees in 13 countries and realizes a revenue of 921 million euros (2019).
The Belgian branch of Paulig, Poco Loco, produces private label Tex-Mex food and snacks. It has a wide variety of tortilla chips, wraps, dinner kits, spices and salsas. The production site in Roeselare counts 750 employees and has an annual turnover of approx. 300 million euros.

Job description

This position reports to the HR Director. Your work location is in Roeselare (although hybrid working to some extent is possible).
 
  • You are the business partner sitting in the Customer Brands leadership team and supporting them in HR related matters.
  • You have a team of 3 and together with the team you ensure that the execution of the annual HR processes is smooth (performance management, talent review, employee engagement survey etc).
  • You actively contribute to the continuous strive for building Paulig winning teams, and developing great leaders.
  • You oversee the recruitment and selection process of the new employees as well as prepare recruitment plans, job announcements and other materials for publicizing job opportunities. You also review applications for selecting candidates for interview, conduct interviews and perform assessment tests.
  • You are responsible for supporting the global L&D initiatives, but also creating and implementing local L&D solutions.
  • You will be actively business partnering and you work directly with department managers to assist them in carrying out their responsibilities on employee matters.

Profile

  • You have a minimum of 5 to 7 years' experience in a senior HR position within an international group.
  • You have working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines.
  • You are culturally sensitive and like international working experience (i.e. working with diverse people, virtual meetings and travelling).
  • You are a real team player.
  • You are flexible, entrepreneurial and are fluent in both written and spoken English and Dutch.
