Key Account Manager Benelux OEM

Job description

To further strengthen our Benelux sales team we are looking for an experienced Account Manager who is both a strong business developer and an excellent relationship builder. The focus of this role will be on Car Distribution (OEM) Partnerships across the Benelux.

The Account Manager’s responsibilities include developing long-term relationships with a portfolio of clients and prospects, connecting with key business executives and stakeholders and liaising between customers and cross-functional internal teams to ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs.

As an expert in smart charging, you will advise customers on how to integrate EV charging in their corporate environment, in terms of facility, engineering, HR and fleet policy, guiding them towards sustainable energy and mobility management. A commercial and technological background and experience in selling complex solutions is a big asset.

You will be working from the office in Antwerp OR Amsterdam combined with working from home. You will be visiting clients across the Benelux. This job requires energy, self-discipline and excellent organisational skills

Your core accountabilities are to...

  • Identifying and onboarding new (hunting) and grow business with existing partners (harvesting);

  • Increase market share by identifying and developing new opportunities.


Successful will be when you...

  • Achieve your business goals and personal targets;

  • Are native in Dutch and excellent in French and English;

  • Develop a trusted relationship with customers, focusing on customer satisfaction and exceeding their expectations;

  • Keep our CRM administration Salesforce updated and report proactively;

  • Closely cooperate with account colleagues across the Shell organization;

  • Apply corporate standards of work, acting as a true Shell Recharge Solutions ambassador;

  • Actively participate in meetings and seek continuous improvement;

  • Demonstrate profound knowledge of the automotive industry;

  • Cooperate with product and marketing departments, providing detailed information on your market’s requirements and any opportunities that arise from your work.

Have experience of…

  • preferably at least 5-10 years within field sales;

  • Farming OEMS and B2B customers within the Benelux;

  • selling partnerships;

  • complex negotiations with senior purchasers and facility managers;

  • introducing products within a new market, achieving ‘ground up’ increase of consumer understanding thanks to consultative selling;

  • building trusted relationships with customers and external partners.
