Key Account Manager Benelux - Aegean Airlines

Job description

The Key Account Manager Benelux will report to the International Sales Manager and will be in charge of the following mains responsibilities:

  • Define and implement Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) in collaboration with the Country Sales Manager to achieve optimum BENELUX flown revenue
  • Responsible for Key Account Management in BENELUX markets
  • Pro-active Sales management to grow business and exceed targets
  • Accurate communication flow between markets and Country Sales Manager
  • Focus on high potential (existing and new) Key Accounts

More in details:

  • Define the overall country strategy, in collaboration with the Country Sales Manager and company strategy. Set up and monitor Objectives and quarterly Key Results (OKRs) to maximize revenue opportunities.
  • Develop and execute local markets OKRs to ensure new business development.
  • Interface between Country Sales Manager and local markets.
  • Complete all back-office activities in an organized and professional manner. Follow company processes whilst looking to increase efficiency.
  • Maintain existing and develop new Key Account relationships (tour operators, consolidators, travel agencies, corporations) in BENELUX markets.
  • Conduct industry market and business research analysis.
  • Represent the company at public and trade events.
  • Ensure complete and up-to-date information in the CRM, at all times.
  • Include HO Intl Group and Helpdesk team at local market level. Maintain regular communication through team meetings.
  • Implement seasonal and tactical actions to steer low and shoulder periods.
  • Annual incentive negotiations with Key Account trade partners to increase revenue.
  • Regular review meetings with contracted Key Accounts to measure performance.
  • Ensure reports are sent on regular basis.
  • Negotiate allocations contracts with Tour Operators.
  • Analyse reports sent by Country Sales Manager to implement appropriate actions and use the data to produce agency performance reports.
  • Evaluate the success of sales actions, incentive contracts and allocation agreements.

It's a stand alone position, working from home with regular client's visits.

Profile

  • Bachelor's degree
  • At least 3-4 years of Sales experience in the Tourism
  • Ability to demonstrate excellent selling and negotiation skills
  • Strategic thinking and initiative taking
  • Proven understanding of the airline and travel industry
  • Pragmatic and result driven with strong analytical skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Clear understanding of various markets individuality's
  • Proven understanding of the airline and travel industry
  • Ability to travel extensively
  • Fluent in English and Dutch, fluency in French will be an asset
