Our customer is well-known international company having its Belgian head office located in Brussels

Job description

The Human Resources Manager guides and manages the overall provision of Human Resources Services, policies and programs. As HR Manager, you will be responsible for the following:

* Develop and implement recruiting policy & ensure filling of vacancies in a timely manner and make sure qualified employees are working at the right positions

* Ensure the overall processes from recruitment till end of employment contract

* Implement and coordinate the development & training of employees (including succession planning)

* Manage all processes related to compensation & benefits (salary review, bonus scheme, benchmark studies, payroll reporting…)

* Initiate and coordinate performance management processes in line with the group's guidelines

* Ensure full legal compliance on HR matters and develop policies and documentation accordingly

* Ensure employee's welfare & safety and take countermeasures when necessary

* Handle organisational planning & development in close collaboration with the relevant departments

* Support line managers and act as business partner

* Ensure a qualitative GA management: follow up of office & facility management

* Manage, monitor, control & report HR&GA budget in line with the approved business plan

* Guide strategic projects in close collaboration with the group.

* Coaching and developing the competencies of the HR/GA team members in order to deploy their competencies, skills and know- how in the most optimised way

* Keep up to date with the newest trends and evolutions in the HR domain


The ideal candidate can demonstrate the following skills:

  • You hold a bachelor's Degree in a relevant field (HR, Economics…)

  • You have more than 8 years of experience as HR Manager combining Soft and Hard HR responsibilities, preferably in an international environment

  • You have a real hands-on mindset

  • You are fluent in Dutch, French and English

  • You have a very good knowledge of the Belgian social legislation, payroll activities as well as soft HR (talent management, people development, succession planning…)

  • You have good analytical skills

  • You are pragmatic and structured

  • You act as a Business Partner, supporting and guiding employees on a daily basis

  • You are a real team player who enjoys having contact with multiple stakeholders

  • You can manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment

  • You have good analytical/financial skills allowing you to plan and manage your budgets with accuracy

  • You have excellent communication/negotiation skills allowing you to challenge the status quo
