Freelance Fleet Expert
Job description
An international technology company active in the truck and transport industry is looking for a Freelance Fleet Expert to optimize its European fleet policies, documentation, and processes. Based at the office in Leuven, you will be the central point of contact for everything related to fleet management. You will deep-dive into local legislation, translate it into internal guidelines, and help the company organize its international fleet as efficiently as possible.
Your responsibilities as a Freelance Fleet Expert:
- You research fleet rules and regulations in Belgium, France, the Netherlands, Germany, Poland, Spain, Italy, and Portugal.
- You consolidate tools, legislation, and internal processes into clear documentation, guidelines, and FAQs.
- You streamline fleet management and proactively identify efficiency gains.
- You communicate with local authorities to confirm specific rules or nuances.
- You align fleet policies with HR, Payroll, and other internal stakeholders.
Profile
As a Freelance Fleet Expert, you bring the following skills:
- Strong knowledge of fleet management; experience with procurement or contracts is a plus.
- You communicate fluently in English; knowledge of other languages (French in particular) is a strong asset.
- You are hands-on, proactive, and able to work independently.
- You are entrepreneurial and enjoy diving into complex subject matter.
- Affinity with cars and their technical features is an advantage.
