Customer Service Coordinator

Job description

A new challenge ? Are you interested to become our Customer Service Coordinator ?
B.I.G. Yarns is a highly specialized yarn manufacturer, with long standing expertise and know-how in producing polyamide and polypropylene yarns. We address the demanding needs from the commercial contract market, the customized residential flooring and the automotive interiors. Customer focus, innovation and sustainability are the main drivers for collaborative product development and long-term relationships.
You become responsible for running our Customer Service Department, the pivotal link between our sales teams, our customers and our supply chain teams. 

Main responsibilities and key tasks
* You are responsible for the coordination of our customer service department, with 4 experienced direct reports, where you will lead by example.  
* You make sure that the customer service runs smoothly and that the office is sufficiently manned, assuring a correct balance between the well being of your team and maintaining a continuous, high level of service. 
* You will take your own responsibility for a number of customers and you coordinate the various activities of the team: register the quotations in the ERP, recording and processing of orders, keeping track of the orders, delivery periods and product specifications, sending product information, and follow-up complaints.
* You develop a performing department and ensure the optimal cooperation and coordination between the different stakeholders within BIG Yarns. 
* You support the sales teams in preparing the forecasts and keep a keen eye on stock levels in close cooperation with the sales teams and actively participate in the weekly S&OP meetings where we track sales statistics, analyze and report issues related to orders and shipments, present results and follow the agreed actions.
* You show alertness for opportunities to increase efficiency and you can cope with occasional unexpected situations. 
You report to the division’s Global Sales Director and you will work closely with the Sales Managers, the Supply Chain teams and the Global Logistic Director.

Profile

Competency Profile
* You hold a bachelor’s degree (or equivalent through experience) . 
* You have minimum 5 years’ experience within BTB Sales. Experience in the carpet industry, or at a supplier to the carpet industry, can be an advantage .
* You master the classic Office 365 Suite and work smoothly with Outlook, Word, Excel and Access. 
* You are able to work smoothly with ERP and CRM systems (TIM, SAP, DWH, SharePoint and Salesforce.)
* You are willing to acquire basic knowledge of yarns, the manufacturing processes and textile applications.
* You understand the importance of safety and well being on the job and are willing to participate in expanding our safety culture. 
Excellent knowledge of Dutch, French and English is required. Other languages will be considered as a plus.
