As a result of the various scandals and increased regulation in the financial sector, compliance departments have been allocated even larger budgets in recent years. Yet studies show that the effectiveness of the compliance function has barely increased in proportion to the increased resources. This training seeks to help compliance officers become more than mere legal specialists in their field.

The objective of the training is:

• to provide the right relationship skills to promote compliant behaviour and to take the impact and influence of the compliance officer to a much higher level;
• to provide practical tips & tricks, using techniques from the behavioural sciences, to excel in any compliance function;
• to teach the most successful influence and persuasion skills.

CONTENT

The training provides:

• an overview of the many tasks and competencies that a compliance officer must possess;
• an analysis of the main motivational drivers to exhibit compliance behaviour;
• an overview of the techniques you can use to influence people;
• an insight into how personality influences effective communication;
• tips and tricks to increase your influence as a compliance officer.

Theoretical concepts from behavioural sciences are alternated with practical exercises.

• Additional information: How do you start the webinar? You will receive a login and password by email to access our platform. In the platform you will find a link. By clicking on the scheduled date the webinar will start via Webex or Teams. 
  In order to receive CPD hours, it is important to enter your own name and surname, follow the entire training day and answer the questions suggested by the trainer. Do not follow the training with several people on the same PC.

You follow a ‘Live webinar’ digitally in a group. It is ‘learning-apart-together’. At an agreed time, the teacher and participants log in to a video conference tool, each from his or her own location and with his or her own computer. Via this tool’s camera, microphone and chat function, there is an opportunity for interaction and feedback, both from the participants to the teacher and vice versa. The teaching material consists as a basis of a presentation via the MyFA learning platform, supplemented with various other items (such as digital syllabus, presentation, audiovisual fragments, etc.).
