ESG is everywhere! The purpose of the course is to get more familiar with the ESG developments and requirements in the financial industry. This transversal topic has impact on many departments and requires close cooperation involving all layers of the banking industry.  Specific attention will be paid to CSRD and ESG Pillar 2 & 3 Reporting.

The objective of the training is to get more insight into how to embed ESG in:

• business strategy;
• financial reporting;
• risk management;
• data/IT infrastructure;
• internal and external communication.

• ESG Context / Importance / Emergence of sustainable finance
• Climate and ESG strategy implementation
• The EU regulatory developments (e.g. EC, ECB, EBA, …) for climate / ESG risks
• ESG standards and reporting for Banks: status and key challenges
• Case study : How to prepare for CSRD ?
• Priorities looking forward for the banking industry and for policy makers
• Excluded : funds reporting/management

You follow a ‘Classroom training’ face-to-face in a group. You, the other participants and the teacher are all present in the same classroom at an agreed time. There is an opportunity for interaction and feedback, both from the participants to the teacher and vice versa. The teaching material consists as a basis of a presentation via the MyFA learning platform, supplemented with various other items (such as digital syllabus, presentation, audiovisual fragments, etc.).
