Technical Control Engineer Luxembourg
Functieomschrijving
As an engineer within the Technical Control department, you intervene throughout the full cycle of your assignments, from the proposal stage to project handover, combining technical analysis and client interaction.
Your technical missions:
- Examine technical documents (plans, calculations, reports, notes, etc.) as part of compliance and quality control of structures.
- Identify sensitive points that may affect the safety, stability or durability of constructions.
- Carry out site visits to verify the proper execution of works and conformity with approved documents.
- Draft clear and well-argued reports for project owners, architects, contractors and insurers.
- Support project stakeholders through rigorous and objective monitoring.
- Contribute to maintaining and developing the team’s technical expertise.
Your commercial missions:
- Represent BuildTIS at events and prospecting activities.
- Participate in preparing and drafting offers in collaboration with the administrators.
- Follow up and build client loyalty.
- Strengthen BuildTIS’ presence and reputation in Luxembourg.
Profiel
- Engineering degree in civil engineering (or equivalent recognised).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in technical inspection of constructions. Additional experience in structural engineering offices or project ownership is an asset.
- To ensure good responsiveness on projects, you reside in Luxembourg or in a nearby border area.
- Perfect command of French; German or English is an asset.
- Good knowledge of Luxembourg and European regulations applicable to construction works.
- Excellent structural analysis skills and critical reading of technical documents.
- Comfortable in human relations, assertive, diplomatic, empathetic and solution-oriented.
- Strong synthesis skills, rigour and sense of responsibility.
- Curiosity, autonomy and appetite for demanding environments.
