Our client is an engineering firm specializing in several domains.
Structural engineering: In this field, they calculate and model building structures made of wood, concrete, and steel.
Energy: Every application for a building permit must comply with strict energy standards. Before construction can begin, an EPB (Energy Performance of Buildings) reporter must be appointed. Our client also provides guidance throughout this process, from the design phase to the execution phase.
BIM: In a traditional construction process, a project is typically passed from one party to another. With BIM (Building Information Modeling), however, they transform the project directly into an integrated process. All necessary information is gathered early in the process and converted into various 3D models for different disciplines. This results in a clear and detailed 3D model of the entire project, giving everyone involved a clear and almost tangible view of the final outcome from the very beginning. This is particularly valuable, especially for the client.
