Our partner plays an active role in the energy transition by connecting not only cables and pipelines, but also people. As a contracting company, they operate across a wide range of sectors, serving both public and private clients. Their operations are divided into four business units: Distribution, Electromechanics, Infrastructure, and Industry.
Within the Distribution business unit, the company installs utility pipelines for gas, water, electricity, and data, both for new construction projects and renovations. They manage the entire process. Because they offer all underground networks and household connections, excavation is needed only once.

As a Site Supervisor Distribution you are the key figure in the practical coordination of your construction sites. Together with your project team, you translate kickoff meetings into a concrete work schedule and, in consultation with the project manager, draw up a staffing plan. You oversee and manage your sites to ensure that projects are executed efficiently, on time, and within budget.
Your daily responsibilities include enforcing safety protocols, working closely with on-site teams, maintaining clear communication with subcontractors and suppliers, and handling administrative tasks such as permit applications, updating project files, and recording hours worked. Acting as the liaison between your teams and stakeholders, you ensure transparent communication and provide regular progress updates. When issues arise on-site, you tackle them swiftly and effectively, while implementing preventive measures to optimize workflow.
About the Role
- Project Preparation: Responsible for the complete practical organization of construction sites. Translate kickoff meetings into detailed work plans and develop staffing schedules.
- Project Execution: Supervise and manage sites, implement and enforce safety protocols, collaborate with on-site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers, and provide guidance and support.
- Administration: Handle permit applications, keep project files up to date, and ensure accurate logging of hours worked and absences.
- Communication: Maintain clear and effective communication, and provide regular updates to project stakeholders.
- Problem Solving: Proactively address and resolve on-site challenges, identify potential risks, and implement preventive measures.
- Team Spirit: Inspire and motivate teams, foster a positive working environment, and encourage the professional development of staff.
Profiel
Your Profile
For the role of Site Supervisor Distribution, you bring not only a strong interest in the cable and pipeline sector, but also the following qualifications:
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in a construction-related field, or at least 3–5 years of relevant work experience
- A hands-on mentality, strong attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with both on-site teams and project stakeholders
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Strong communication skills in English and French and/or Dutch
