Service Technician
Functieomschrijving
As a Service Technician, you ensure that our tower cranes – both at customer sites and within our rental fleet – remain in top condition. You are the person who solves issues where others get stuck.
Your responsibilities:
- You detect and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical faults.
- You analyze and repair issues in PLC control systems.
- You perform maintenance and repairs on various machines.
- You work on sites across Belgium.
No two days are the same.
One day you may be working in the fields at sunrise, the next day you could be working at height with an incredible view.
Important: this is not a desk job.
You work outdoors, deal with the Belgian weather, and climb tower cranes. Free fitness included!
Profiel
We are looking for a motivated service technician with a solid foundation in electricity and mechanical insight.
- You have a bachelor's degree in electricity/electromechanics or relevant experience.
- You are eager to learn and have a problem-solving mindset.
- You speak and understand English very well. Knowledge of Dutch is a plus!
- You hold a category B driving license and are willing to travel daily to sites across Belgium.
- Your place of residence is not important, but you will collect materials and spare parts from our depot in Ostend.
- You have initial experience in reading and troubleshooting PLC systems.
- You understand how a three-phase motor works (and how to change its rotation direction).
- You can weld or are willing to learn.
- You can safely work with a grinder or are willing to learn.
- You are not afraid of heights and enjoy working outdoors.
Junior with the right education? We are happy to train you further.
Experienced technician? Then you will be given responsibility and autonomy right away.
