Senior Business Controller

Position
As a Senior Business Controller, you provide high-quality financial insights to support strategic decisions across the group. You work closely with leadership teams in different regions and functions, contributing to stronger cost control, profitability analysis and data-driven planning.
This is a key function for an experienced finance professional who enjoys combining analytical depth with a strong business partnering mindset.
From out your role you will interact with the Group Controller and CFO.
Your responsibilities include:
- Managing and improving cost accounting across multiple sites, ensuring accurate standard costing and analyzing manufacturing structures.
- Providing insight into margins and product profitability, including variance analysis and margin reviews.
- Delivering monthly performance analyses across business units: actuals, budget, forecast, prior-year comparisons.
- Highlighting trends, risks and opportunities, providing clear insights for management.
- Conducting analyses on pricing, capacity, product mix and working capital to support strategic decision-making.
- Developing dashboards, KPIs and Power BI reports to harmonize reporting across sites.
- Supporting budgeting, forecasting and long-range planning, ensuring inputs align with strategic assumptions.
- Contributing to improvement projects such as M&A analyses, transfer pricing, sourcing optimization and cost accounting enhancements.

Profiel
Your profile
- A bachelor's or master's degree in finance.
- At least 10 years of relevant experience in FP&A, controlling or a similar finance function, ideally in an international manufacturing or engineering environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
- Proficiency in Excel, ERP systems and experience building dashboards in Power BI (must).
- The ability to balance operational detail with a strategic helicopter view.
- Excellent planning and organizational skills, especially in a fast-moving context.
- A plus: experience with consolidation systems or IFRS.
- We are looking for an English proficient professional. Dutch is not required.
- Willingness to travel internationally maximum 2 weeks each quarter.
