RASS® Software Engineer

As a vital member of our software engineering team, you will play a key role in supporting, designing, implementing and documenting software solutions for our RASS® toolbox, our manufacturer-independent suite for on-site evaluation of radar elements. Your creative flair, coupled with technical proficiency, will be instrumental in bringing a seamless experience to our users’ needs.
Your tasks and responsibilities:
· Support customers and service engineers with problems using RASS® devices and toolbox.
· Develop software solutions for our new RASS® product line.
· Develop documentation, flowcharts, lay-outs, design diagrams and code.
· Handle the analysis, problem definition, requirements and solution development thereby following the software development lifecycle.
· Support customers and service engineers with problems using RASS® devices and toolbox.
· Work closely together with our system engineers, hardware, and firmware developers to create a user application that fulfills the needs for our customers.
You don’t need to tick every box — the more you bring, the better, but we value curiosity and continuous growth just as much as experience.
Profiel
•Master degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
•Fluent with object-oriented languages: C++ and/or Python.
•Strong OOP, Functional Programming, and modeling skills (UML).
•Ability to take a project from scoping requirements to the actual launch of the project.
•Experience in communicating with users, other technical teams, and management to collect requirements, identify tasks, provide estimates, and meet production deadlines.
•Knowledge of LabVIEW is a plus.
•Radar knowledge is a plus.
