Together with our client, a steel processing company located near Ghent, we are looking for versatile packing operators (steel) due to company growth.
Production Worker / Steel Packer
Functieomschrijving
What will you do?
You will be responsible for the packing and handling of steel products (plates and coils) within the production environment:
Packing steel coils and plates and preparing them for transport
Applying metal straps (wrapping/strapping) around the steel
Placing wooden beams for support and stability
Wrapping products with protective paper
Setting basic parameters on machines
Supporting other production tasks when needed

You are motivated and willing to work hands-on
You can work in a noisy industrial environment
You speak English (required), additional languages are a plus
You are flexible regarding tasks and working hours
Day shift: 08:00 – 16:30
Or 2 shifts: 06:00–14:00 / 14:00–22:00
