Pharmaceutical Analyst Next Generation Sequencing
Functieomschrijving
- Perform DNA and RNA extractions on a wide range of samples (cells, tissue, liquid biopsies, metagenome samples,…).
- Perform established library preparation workflows for next and third generation sequencing (ONT) techniques.
- Perform quality control tasks on extracted samples and sequencing libraries.
- Interpret results and initiate further investigation in case of deviations.
- Maintain accurate documentation related to the wet lab procedures.
- Participate in internal training sessions.
- Collaborate with the bioinformatics team to ensure data integrity and support the development of new analytical methods.
- Assist in the optimization of workflows, ensuring they meet the high standards set by OHMX.bio.
- Ensure compliance with internal procedures and work instructions as prescribed by ISO 9001, 27001, and GCLP standards.
Profiel
- You hold a Professional Bachelor’s degree in Pharmaceutical and Biological laboratory techniques, Biotechnology, or a related field.
- You work with high precision and can organize your tasks efficiently.
- You have strong problem-solving skills and can multitask effectively.
- You embrace the opportunity of working with new technologies.
- Proficiency in English is required; additional languages are a plus.
