Legal Counsel Technology & Data Protection - Brussels
Functieomschrijving
- Draft, review, and negotiate commercial and ICT contracts, including cloud and outsourcing agreements
- Be the lead legal counsel on AI projects
- Provide legal advice on commercial law and ICT-related matters
- Advise on GDPR compliance and manage data protection agreements
- Maintain and update privacy statements and internal policies
- Support incident response for data breaches and collaborate with DPO and ISO teams
- Monitor and interpret new regulations (DORA, AI Act, cybersecurity) and assess impact on operations
- Ensure compliance with EU and Belgian laws in ICT and digital services
Profiel
- Belgian Master's degree in law
- Minimum 4-5 years of experience specializing in ICT law, data protection, and commercial contracting
- Strong analytical and risk assessment skills
- Excellent organizational and communication abilities
- Tech-savvy with interest in emerging technologies
- Fluent in English, Dutch, and French
