For their office in the North of the Brussels region, they are currently looking for a Financial Controller who will take responsibility for several countries within the European scope.
Financial Controller - Strombeek - Consumer Goods
Functieomschrijving
- Oversee the preparation and statutory filing of financial statements for multiple entities, ensuring compliance with IFRS/GAAP and local requirements.
- Coordinate and lead the external audit process, acting as primary contact for auditors and ensuring timely delivery of all documentation.
- Manage the full cycle of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes.
- Perform financial analysis, reconciliations, and variance explanations to ensure accuracy and transparency of results.
- Provide management with insights and reports to support decision-making at European level.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and corporate reporting standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external advisors to support operational and strategic initiatives.
Profiel
- Bachelor or Master's degree in Finance or Accountancy.
- Minimum of 3 years of Experience in an Audit/Accounting/Finance role!
- Experience in an international environment is an asset.
- Strong analytical skills and a business-oriented mindset.
- Fluent in English in combination with either Dutch or French.
- Trilingual is a big plus!
