Demand planner
Functieomschrijving
- Develop accurate demand forecasts for the assigned product portfolio, ensuring alignment with business objectives and market trends.
- Collaborate closely with Marketing and Commercial teams to gather market intelligence and integrate it into the monthly demand plan.
- Monitor distributor orders versus forecast to ensure proper alignment and anticipate potential gaps.
- Prepare and present regular reports on forecast accuracy, inventory levels, and key KPIs, identifying risks and improvement opportunities.
- Manage inventory parameters in SAP to ensure correct MRP execution and maintain high data accuracy.
- Communicate proactively on supply risks, product availability, and lead times, ensuring transparency across the EMEA Commercial team.
- Oversee inbound flows and warehouse operations to guarantee supply continuity and adherence to standard procedures.
Profiel
- Holds a graduate or university degree, with at least 3 years of experience in demand planning.
- Strong understanding of end-to-end supply chain processes and solid knowledge of SAP, APS, and demand planning tools.
- Fluent in English; experience in the medical device or healthcare sector is an advantage.
- Demonstrates analytical thinking, business acumen, and excellent planning skills with a focus on accuracy and meeting deadlines.
- APICS certification or similar supply chain qualification is a plus
