CALCULATOR - ESTIMATOR
Functieomschrijving
- Analyzing ship repair specifications.
- Preparation of a total quotation in Excel based on customer information.
- Request quotes from suppliers and evaluate prices.
- Estimating required man-hours and materials.
- Contact with customer for additional info and sending approved quote.
- Answering customer questions and updating the quotation file.
- Close cooperation with colleagues from calculation, commerce and technology.
Profiel
- Strong English (technical) language skills
- Strong numerical and analytical skills
- Computer literate with good MS Office skills, especially Excel
- Experience in a ship repair business
- Motivated and willing to learn, you are a team player and you don't have a "nine-to-five" mentality.
- Knowledge of ships and ship systems
- Being able to work independently.
- Marine engineer degree or similar work experience
