Accounting Manager-Shared Services

As Head of Accounting - SSC Manager, you will oversee the accounting production for multiple entities, ensuring compliance with local (Belgian) and IFRS standards. You will lead the Shared Services Center team, guarantee the accuracy of financial data, and act as a strategic partner to the Group's Business Units.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading and managing the accounting SSC team
- Preparing the SSC budget and overseeing cost allocation to entities
- Acting as technical expert on Belgian GAAP and IFRS
- Managing monthly and annual closings, statutory and consolidated accounts
- Implementing internal controls and reconciliation processes
- Ensuring legal compliance and coordinating external audits
- Supervising treasury, FX, and cash forecasting processes
- Organizing Belgian tax declarations (VAT, withholding tax, corporate tax)
- Contributing to transformation and digitalization projects
- Collaborating with other shared services across the Group
Profiel
Experience & Skills:
- Minimum 10 years in accounting or audit, including 3-5 years in a leadership role
- Strong expertise in Belgian GAAP and IFRS
- Proven experience in multi-entity accounting and closings
- Proficiency with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.)
- Bilingual in French and English
