As part of a fast-growing international group, several companies in Belgium have recently been acquired and are now being integrated. We are looking for an IT Manager Belgium to oversee, structure, and harmonize the IT environments of approximately six newly acquired entities, while ensuring smooth day-to-day IT operations and implementing the group-wide IT strategy.
This is both a strategic and hands-on role, involving IT landscape harmonization, advanced operational support, and cloud administration. You will act as the primary IT point of contact for all Belgian sites while collaborating closely with the central IT team in Germany.

- Oversee and manage IT operations across all Belgian sites and acquired entities.
- Drive the harmonization of IT tools and systems (infrastructure, applications, policies) across multiple companies.
- Design and implement solutions aligned with the group-wide IT strategy.
- Ensure reliable and secure daily IT operations, acting as the main local IT contact.
- Provide IT support in alignment with the needs of various business units.
- Monitor and strengthen IT security while encouraging a modern cybersecurity culture.
- Independently manage IT projects, from planning through to completion.
- Administer the group's Azure / Microsoft 365 cloud environment, including Intune, Modern Desktop, etc.
- Collaborate closely with Central IT and regional IT managers across the group.
Profil
- Solid educational background in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a related field.
- Several years of experience in a similar IT management role, ideally with multi-site or multi-company responsibility.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft client-server environments, virtualization, IT security, networking, storage, and backup & recovery.
- Advantageous: experience with Microsoft Azure, M365, Intune, Autopilot, Modern Desktop, Azure Virtual Desktop.
- Strong hands-on mentality and a high level of service orientation and accountability.
- Analytical and solution-oriented work approach combined with excellent communication skills and team spirit.
- Willingness to travel to company sites across Belgium (and occasionally the Netherlands, if needed); valid driver's license required.
- Language skills: English and Dutch (native). French is a plus, given the Belgian subsidiaries.
