Senior Accountant

Our client is active in the real estate sector.

The scope of responsibilities for this job as Senior Accountant includes:

• Registration and follow-up of operational transactions i.e. supplier invoices, expenses claims, customer invoices and bank transactions ;
• Fixed Asset management accounting of the company ;
• You will ensure that financial business workflows are correctly set up and maintain them in the system ;
• You will ensure that processes within the company are followed and will contribute to the improvement of these processes ;
• You will learn and support the team with the implementation of our new Financial system: Workday. You will become a Superuser of the system ;
• You will check inter-group invoicing ;
• You will upload our actual financial results into the SAP group financial portal ;
• You will analyze, explain and justify monthly variances on expenditures. You will produce accruals entrees on invoices not yet received ;
• You exchange and share financial information with the financial controlling department and the other departments within the company ;
• You will prepare and produce reports for the external and internal auditors ;
• You will produce ad hoc reports for internal analysis and follow-up of expenses.

The requested qualifications for this job as Senior Accountant include:

• You have a Bachelor/Master degree in Accountancy ;
• You are fluent in French and English. Knowledge of Dutch is an asset ;
• You have at least 5 years of professional experience as an accountant ;
• You are comfortable using Excel and PowerPoint. Knowledge of SAP is a plus ;
• You are precise, organized, proactive and willing to take the initiative.
