Financial Controller
Job description
The scope of responsibilities for this job include:
- You prepare, coordinate, and monitor the annual budgets and forecasts for different entities within the group;
- You analyze and control cost structures, focusing especially on financial costs such as interest, banking, and financing expenses;
- You verify charged interest and financial terms according to contracts and internal parameters;
- You ensure the accuracy and consistency of financed trades between banking systems and internal reporting tools;
- You actively contribute to the preparation and support of group-level financial consolidation;
- You support and monitor digitalization and automation of financial processes and reporting;
- You work towards optimizing and integrating financial systems, including ERP, bank interfaces, reporting tools, and cloud solutions;
- You support financial analyses related to budgeting, cost calculations, credit insurance, and profitability;
- You identify risks, deviations, and optimization opportunities, and translate these into concrete proposals.

Profile
The requested qualifications for this job include:
- You have at least 5 years of experience in controlling, audit, or finance;
- You possess strong analytical skills and work with accuracy and attention to detail;
- You have a solid understanding of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and consolidation;
- You are experienced in ERP systems and financial reporting tools;
- You communicate effectively with both management and external stakeholders;
- You approach your tasks hands-on, autonomously, and solution-oriented;
- You are fluent in Dutch and English (French is a plus);
- You hold a bachelor's or master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
