Commissioning Technician
Job description
As a Commissioning Technician, you are responsible for the maintenance, installation, and commissioning of kinetic generator sets. You work on customer sites and ensure technical follow-up as well as user training.
Your main responsibilities:
- Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical and mechanical machines.
- Perform installation and commissioning of new and overhauled units.
- Provide on-site support to subsidiaries and customers, in collaboration with the internal training centre.
- Travel approximately 60% of the time (India, China, Norway, Australia, etc.), sometimes for long assignments.
- Participate in the 24/7 on-call rotation with the team.
- Ensure proper documentation and follow-up of interventions.
Team
You will join a dynamic and specialised team of 13 technicians.
Profile
Your education and technical skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in electromechanics.
- Knowledge of wiring, start-up, testing, and commissioning of machines.
- Valid driving licence required.
- Excellent command of French and English.
- BA5 certification is an asset.
- VCA certification is an asset.
