Bus Controller - Groot-Bijgaarden - Automotive sector

Our client is a fast growing company active in the automotive sector.

As Bus Controller Benelux & Nordics you will be responsible for:

• Commercial Accountancy:
• Assure reliability and integrity of the Monthly Results reported in the official CNHi reports;
• Monitor the respect of CNHi Finance Policy.
• Commercial Business Support:
• Support Business Directors with a proactive approach, accurate financial data, analysis and recommendation to improve and focus on the key drivers of our businesses;
• Support Business Director in achieving Company strategies and goals;
• Heavily involved in commercial deals assessments (deal sheets) and monitoring of the discounts and pricing;
• Support ad hoc requests for market / finance management;
• Budget and Forecast activities.
• Provide internal and external audit support and coordinate the activities within the team.
• Perform closing activities during first four working days of new month
• Strong support to Business Directors in budget & forecast process.
• Monthly strong profitability analysis by models, with focus on price effect
• Pricing and Discount management:
• Participate actively in Quarterly Program definition and ensure respect of it both on P&L and BS;
• Ensure continuous Discount standardization / simplification;
• Perform monthly Discount Analysis and Discount Reserve Evaluation.
• Ensure correctness of Deal-Sheets, checking all commercial risks are correctly assessed
• Monthly follow-up of Penalties Reserve and anticipated P&L impact
• Financial results reliability and compliance:
• Grant reliability of financial results and ensure accounting is properly done by product, market, account in SAP and correctly reported in Energy;
• Participate actively in Flash preparation;
• Ensure DoA, Revenue Recognition, Net Residual Value (NRV) and other CNHi policy compliance;
• Support Internal and External Audit.
• Commercial Business Support:
• Support Commercial team with a proactive approach, accurate financial data, analysis and recommendation to improve a sustainable profitability of the businesses;
• Provide a simple, consistent reporting package to the business supported on a monthly basis.

The required profile for the Bus Controller Benelux & Nordics position:

• Master Degree in Economics (or equal through experience);
• Knowledge of CNH Industrial systems, business processes and products;
• Knowledge of managerial accounting, policies rules and flows;
• A minimum 3 years of experience in controlling;
• Computer literacy: excellent excel skills and SAP;
• Expert knowledge and application of Excel/Access;
• SAP knowledge;
• Strong analytical skills;
• Self-starter: Able to work independently and pro-actively seeking opportunities;
• Being a credible counterpart in management discussions with the ability to defend the financial implications;
• Be flexible and able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines;
• Be able to treat information in a confidential way;
• Strong communication, interpersonal and coaching skills.
