- Preparing the roof surface for the application of bituminous roofing.
- Burning and adhering bituminous roofing sheets to ensure a waterproof finish.
- Performing repairs on existing bituminous roofing.
- Continuously ensuring safety at the workplace by complying with all safety regulations.
- Collaborating with colleagues and clear communication with customers about the progress of the work.

- Proven experience as a roofing torch operator.
- Thorough knowledge of roofing materials and techniques, mainly bitumen.
- Possession of a valid VCA certificate (or willingness to obtain it).
- Good physical condition and no fear of heights.
- Driver's license B.
- Flexible, responsible, and customer-oriented work attitude.
- Open-minded mentality and the ability to quickly master new techniques and knowledge.
- Highly motivated to learn and willing to learn from an experienced craftsman as team leader.
- Proven experience as a roofing torch operator.
- Thorough knowledge of roofing materials and techniques, mainly bitumen.
- Possession of a valid VCA certificate (or willingness to obtain it).
