A well-established Belgian manufacturer of exterior joinery is seeking motivated Maintenance Technicians to ensure their production lines operate efficiently and reliably.
Your Role
As a Maintenance Technician, you will play a key role in maintaining continuity, safety, and efficiency in the production environment. Your responsibilities include:
? Diagnosing and fixing mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues
? Performing preventive maintenance on high-tech production equipment
? Collaborating with internal teams and external service providers
? Identifying opportunities for improvements and contributing to process optimization
? Following structured maintenance schedules (daily, weekly, monthly)
- Hands-on mentality and a proactive approach.
- Knowledge of mechanics, electricity, hydraulics and pneumatics.
- Experience in production line maintenance is required, preferably in a similar industry.
- Basic knowledge of automation (Siemens S5, S7, TIA Portal) is an asset.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Passion for technology and continuous learning.
- Safety-conscious and precise in execution.
- Flexible and willing to work in shifts (early and late shifts).
- Team player with excellent communication skills.
- Willing to participate in an on-call system after the training period.
Vakkennis: Preferably a Bachelor's degree in Electromechanics, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent experience.
Talenkennis: Dutch or English fluency required
Wat bieden wij jou?- Gross salary: €20.76/hour
- Shift allowance: Early shift: +€1.16/hour, Late shift: +€2.18/hour
- These bonuses are paid on top of your regular hourly wage.
- You will receive €7.40 per worked day in electronic meal vouchers.
