For one of our clients in the banking sector, we are seeking a Facilities Manager : Cabling Expert to ensure the safety and performance of electrical and low-voltage installations across a large real estate network. You will contribute to feasibility studies, project design, technical governance, and the continuous improvement of standards.
Facility Management : Technical Expert Electricity
Functieomschrijving
- You support various Facility Management teams in preparing feasibility studies, technical concepts, and project documentation for both branches ( /- 300) and administrative buildings ( /- 30).
- You conduct studies on electrical installations (low voltage and medium voltage) and associated low-current systems (security systems, alarms, structured cabling…).
- You independently define detailed technical concepts, including technical roll-out frameworks.
- You apply internal guidelines and procedures and help develop and update them with the team.
- You contribute to technical standardization by creating, publishing, and maintaining guidelines and procedures.
- You perform risk analyses, lead risk management actions, and conduct technical audits.
- You act as a second-line technical expert in case of escalated issues or requests from other FAC departments.
- You ensure the quality and accuracy of as-built documentation.
- You carry out on-site visits across Belgium as required for project studies.
- You prepare reports, studies, and documents in both French and Dutch.
Profiel
- Master’s degree in Engineering or equivalent.
- At least 6 years of relevant experience in a technical domain.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the design or execution of electrical projects.
- Strong command of:
- MS Office
- AutoCAD
- Visio
- Preferred experience with Elec Calc and data cabling.
- Fluent in Dutch and French; English is optional.
- Strong communication skills, autonomous and team-oriented.
- Flexible, solution-minded, proactive, and able to take initiative.
