Underwriter
Description de la fonction
As Underwriter (m/f/x) you will be responsible for:
- Underwrite J Property Business in line with company underwriting guidelines and authority levels
- Maintain close communication with internal teams (Business Development, CUO, Risk Engineering, etc.) and external stakeholders (brokers, clients, and partners)
- Build and maintain strong relationships with brokers to support business goals
- Ensure timely and accurate preparation of internal and external reports
- Verify that all policy wordings align with market standards and company requirements
- Work closely with Risk Engineering to implement and follow up on recommendations
- Develop and apply appropriate technical pricing for each policy
- Regularly review underwriting performance and take corrective actions if necessary
- Stay informed about market trends, attending seminars and courses, and sharing insights with the team
- Supervise tasks performed by the Underwriting Assistant and manage special projects assigned by the Branch Manager

Profil
The required profile for the Underwriter (m/f/x) position:
- Master / certification
- Minimum 5 years of experience
- Previous experience in similar function
- Fluent French, Dutch and English language skills
- Strong Excel skills
- Good communication skills
- Relationship-builder
- Ability to work autonomously as well as in a team
