Freelance - Billing Officer
Description de la fonction
In this freelance assignment, you will work as a Billing Officer, supporting both the billing and accounting processes.
You will work a few days per month, following a clear schedule:
- Last 3 working days of the month: full-time for billing
- Rest of the month: 1 day per week
The assignment can be performed fully remotely.
Working via Bright Plus Outsourcing Solutions allows you to keep your freedom as a freelancer while easily finding new assignments and simplifying your administration.
As a Billing Officer, your responsibilities include:
- Processing and following up incoming invoices (AP)
- Processing and following up outgoing invoices (AR)
- Coordinating accounting-related tasks with the external accountant
Profil
As a freelancer, you are looking to further deepen your expertise or share it with different companies.
Your background includes:
- A bachelor’s or master’s degree, or equivalent experience
- Fluency in Dutch, English, and French
- Strong command of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Your key soft skills:
- Strong communication skills
- Eager to learn and highly motivated
- Quickly deployable and able to work independently
Required Skills & Mindset
- Experience with billing processes (AP/AR)
- Confident working with ERP and accounting systems
- Accurate, structured, and strong in follow-up
- Able to work independently within clear procedures
- Professional communication with suppliers, customers, and accountants
