To strengthen their existing teams, we will soon be looking for a Floor Manager / Supervisor (m/f/x) with excellent people management skills for their warehouse in the southwest of Brussels!


Job description

This function is inextricably linked to a heavy responsibility concerning all possible operational processes in the warehouse.

Your work languages will be French or Dutch and English.
In a dynamic and high-pace environment, we count on you to supervise 3-4 Teamleaders and 3-5 Process Operators, coordinating 50 operators active in the warehouse.
You will therefore play a key role in the daily course of affairs in the fulfilment center.
Since the logistics department is growing continuously, you work closely with the Warehouse Manager in order to implement and create new projects and processes in a constantly changing environment.
You will supervise, anticipate and steer the staff planning of your area, including absence management, in direct relation with the warehouse manager and the planning teams.

You will monitor actively KPI’s on both quality and productivity and set actions for continuous improvement of them in order to keep costs under control.
You will take ownership to have the best result for our clients.
You will also act as a replacement in case one of your
team members is absent.
Together with your team you look actively for solutions that can benefit both the team and the client.
As a coach to your team members, you help them in their individual development and growth towards higher performance and standards. You drive them and they know they can count on you whenever they have a question or observation.
Your goal is to reach the best results in satisfaction, both for the customers as for your colleagues.


You are fluent in Dutch or French and English. Should you master all three languages, even better!
You have a proven 3-5 years working experience in people management, ideally in a Logistics environment, coordinating at least 20 operators or team members.
You have experience organizing staff planning on a continuous basis.
You have great communication skills and a good sense of organization.
You demonstrate problem-solving abilities and have a hands-on approach to your work.
You have the capability to listen to your team members and give feedback.
You have eyes for details and good analytical skills.
You are stress resistant.
You are available to work a regular work schedule from 10am-6pm.
