SECRETARY

Job description

  • Providing administrative, logistics and secretarial support to the office, including drafting and preparation of documents, assisting in accounting and reporting works, organising travel arrangements, managing officers’ agenda, and arranging events, meetings or visits;
  • Supporting the maintenance of web platforms and relevant circulation/subscription lists;
  • Managing the office filing system, including updating logs and databases;
  • Assisting in ad-hoc functions of the office; and
  • Carrying out other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Profile

  • Proficiency in oral and written English, plus good command of French and/or Dutch, preferably both;
  • Completion of post-secondary education; holding a university degree would be of advantage;
  • At least one year of relevant experience in office administrative, logistical and secretarial work.  Working experience in government or diplomatic offices would be an advantage;
  • Good computer literacy including Microsoft Office software, as well as editing of webpages and pictures; and
  • Good communication skills and good ability to attend to details.
