To expand our range of floor coverings, we recently began offering Luxury Vinyl Flooring (LVT) alongside our wall-to-wall carpets. AW may be the new kid on the block in LVT, but that hasn’t stopped us from being decorated by the flooring industry with three awards in the UK after barely one year: “Best Flooring Brand”, “Best Flooring Website” and “Best Flooring Retail Display”. Job description

  • AW has a burning ambition to secure a prominent place in the European LVT market. Initially, we will be counting on you to place our new LVT brand and product range with a select group of retailers and wholesalers who already work with us on our wall-to-wall carpets.  You will be able to rely on support here from the “Soft Flooring” division, where employees will be more than happy to roll out the red carpet for you and introduce you to their clients. The next part of your job will be to tap into new sales channels and to convince new clients to share in our exciting growth. 
  • As the underdog, you will jostle with established names in the LVT sector, not put off by challenging sales targets.
  • You will be highly visible out and about, keeping a close eye on the market so that you can respond perfectly to your clients’ expectations.
  • You will identify critical success factors and draw up an action plan for successful growth with the aim of not only expanding AW’s share of the European LVT market but also consolidating this in the long term.
  • You will lead a small group of enthusiastic employees who, like you, are true “intrapreneurs” only too happy to use the freedom and facilities on offer within the organisation to write a success story.
  • You will report to the Business Unit Manager LVT, who not only sets out the strategic focal points and bears responsibility for P&L but also coordinates purchasing, logistics, marketing and product development.


  • You have a master’s degree and at least seven years’ experience in LVT or hard floors.
  • You have the spirit of a genuine entrepreneur who is not easily thrown off balance.
  • With your market knowledge and experience in the sector you will be able to identify prospects and generate new business quickly (during the next part of your job, see above).
  • You will excel at bringing to market not just our products but also our marketing and retail concepts
  • You have considerable language skills. Good knowledge of German is a must.
