  • Manage spare parts requirements and stock follow-up
  • Train Skechers teams on machine use, safety, and first-level maintenance
  • Document interventions and report technical information in a structured way
  • Work closely with other Packsize Service Engineers and internal teams (engineering, support, product)
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of machines, processes, and technical documentation

Team

You are the only on-site Resident Service Engineer, but never isolated. You remain in close contact with a team of around ten Service Engineers working for other clients.

Your manager is Harco, Field Service Manager Europe, based in the Netherlands. He is known for his trust-based management style, availability, open-mindedness, and strong listening skills.

Profile

Your background and technical skills:

  • Education in electromechanics with more than 3 years’ experience in troubleshooting and maintaining complex electromechanical systems (junior profiles will also be considered)
  • Strong command of mechanical and electrical hand tools
  • Ability to read technical drawings and wiring diagrams and work autonomously
  • Basic knowledge of PLC systems (e.g. Siemens, Allen-Bradley) and industrial sensors (an asset)
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)
  • Excellent command of French (contact with Skechers) and English (contact with Packsize) (must)

Your personality and soft skills:

  • Autonomy, organization, and prioritization
  • Customer- and solution-oriented mindset
  • Strong interpersonal skills and clear communication
  • Pedagogical approach
  • Resourcefulness and ability to seek out information

Offer

  • Training

You bring your potential to Packsize, and in return they offer:

  • Permanent contract (CDI)
  • 40-hour workweek with 30 days of annual leave
  • Salary package in line with Joint Committee 209
  • Comprehensive and structured training
  • International and intercultural working environment within an agile and modern organization
  • A global leader in packaging automation, distinguished by its strong commitment to sustainability and its ambition to raise awareness among partners
