Orderpicker cold area dayshift
Job description
- Working in an environment with freezing temperatures (minimum of -35 degrees Celsius).
- Performing tasks according to applicable protocols and safety guidelines.
- Ensuring proper storage and handling of temperature-sensitive goods.
- Using computer systems to maintain stock records and record work.
- Logical thinking and able to solve problems quickly.
- Physically strong and able to work in a cold environment for extended periods of time.
- Communicate with colleagues and supervisors in English or Dutch.
Profile
- Experience in a logistics environment is a plus but not required
- Experience in a similar position within the cold chain industry is a plus.
- Dexterity with PC and willingness to learn to work with specific software programmes.
- Ability to think logically and work accurately.
- Strong logical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Good physical condition to manually remove goods from shelves and place them on the transpallet
- Able to perform physical tasks and work in extreme temperatures.
- Good command of English or Dutch for communication within the team.
- Knowledge of Dutch or English
- You will work in day shift, starting in a "flexible day shift"
- Own transport or via Maxmobile from Gent-Dampoort station
