Mechatronics Test Engineer
Job description
As a Mechatronics Test Engineer you will:
- Define and develop verification & validation procedures, work instructions, test scripts, and other documentation to demonstrate that the system is fit for its purpose and satisfies the stakeholders’ requirements.
- Review test procedures and develop new test benches if required.
- Document verification & validation results.
- Recommend corrective actions and obtain stakeholder acceptance of validation results.
- Log defects and issues found during V&V activities and track to closure.
- Prioritize project tasks to complete them on schedule while maintaining the quality of work.
- Collaborate closely and stay aligned with other groups, both within and external to stow Robotics
- Lead technical design reviews at various stages of the program lifecycle.
Profile
As a Mechatronics Test Engineer, you largely meet the following requirements:
- You have a bachelor's or master’s degree in Mechatronics, Electronics, Automation, Computer Science or related fields.
- You have a first engineering experience, preferably in manufacturing, automation, machine or aerospace industries.
- You have hands-on design and/or testing experience of electronic, mechatronics or electromechanical products, subsystems, or components.
- You have knowledge of and experience with V-cycle and testing procedures.
- You can work autonomous and are a team player.
- You have a very good knowledge of English.
