Job description

You will report directly to the Managing Director and dotted line to the Group Marketing Director, you will operate in the following fields:

In an international environment you develop the regional marketing plan, complementary to the business plan of the region ‘Central Europe’ and Group marketing strategy. You support the growth of the business through tailor made marketing and communication activities to customers and market. You understand market & consumer trends and translate these insights into new business opportunities. You develop marketing programs to the relevance of the customer needs and expectations. You work closely together with sales and R&D teams in the region and with Group marketing team to offer the right solutions to customers.

  • You complete an annual comprehensive market plan based on in-depth market mapping covering markets size, major players and trends, competitive and product information for the region.
  • You identify and relate consumer & food trends to business objectives and opportunities. You recommend set of marketing related actions to be undertaken to fulfil growth objectives.
  • You develop and foster consumer minded culture in the region and at customers
  • You integrate consumer & food insights into tailored customer activities, focussing on delivery of right value proposition according to customer expectations.
  • You inspire customers with exciting new solutions
  • You lead implementation of solution programs with strategic customers including facilitation of ideation session and concept development.
  • You support local implementation of innovations and develop regional go-to-market launches.
  • You develop, in conjunction with Sales, Customer Development Plans for Key Strategic Accounts
  • You develop strong working relationships with regional Sales and R&D management as well as Group marketing functions
  • You monitor and bring a regular updated view of the regional competitive landscape
  • You are a real team player and enjoy working with all departments in the organisation to get things done! You have a hands-on mentality.


Profil required:
  • Education:  Bachelor or Masters Marketing and/or Market Research
  • Experience: at least 5 years of successful experience in B2B Food industry with customized products and a high degree of flexibility in service at international customers

  • Fluency in Dutch, English and German, other language is a plus.
  • Travelling is essential for your job (min 30% of the time).
