GL Accountant
Job description
Key Responsibilities:
- You deliver timely, accurate financial information to support key stakeholders;
- You lead monthly GL accounting, including payroll, accruals, prepaids, and depreciation entries under US GAAP;
- You perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations and analytical reviews of branch results;
- You assist in branch reporting and ensure fiscal compliance-including tax declarations, audits, and responding to tax authorities;
- You own the preparation of year-end closings, statutory files, and IFRS financial statements;
- You act as a key point of contact for branches and external parties (auditors, advisors, authorities);
- You provide support across a range of accounting projects, continually enhancing processes and internal controls.

Profile
Qualifications:
- You hold a bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in accountancy or a related field;
- You have 3+ years of accounting experience, including strong tax compliance and closing procedures knowledge;
- You are proficient in Excel and fluent in English;
- You demonstrate a fundamental understanding of fiscal principles and general ledger accounting;
- You are highly motivated, a quick learner, and eager for continuous growth;
- You can work independently, stay organized, and thrive in a collaborative team;
- You have experience with Oracle software (a plus).
