Ledea Light is a lighting company, active since 2009 in the business market. We design and provide LED lighting solutions for customers ranging from small businesses to large corporations, specializing both in office lighting, retail and technical lighting for warehouses and industries.

In order to realize our ever-challenging objectives Ledea Light, an entity of the group Equans, located in Zaventem, is looking for a General Manager.

• you are responsible for managing a small team of dedicated professionals working within the areas of technical commercial & design, admin. and finance
• you develop a winning strategy to take our operations to the next level, and together with the team you work towards a strong and sustainable growth of the business
• you maintain existing commercial relationships and develop them further. In addition, you are always on the lookout for new commercial opportunities to expand our portfolio
• you monitor ongoing projects, support the project leaders in making the right decisions and suggest changes when needed
• you are in touch with the market needs, trends and competitors and respond appropriately
• you work closely with the management and other divisions within the Group to build strong and mutually beneficial relationships
• you are responsible for the monitoring and reporting of financial performance and results of Ledea Light
• as a people manager, you know how to challenge, inspire and motivate your team to take their performance to a higher level

Your profile

We believe that if you want to succeed in this mission, you will need some specific experience, competencies and traits, e.g.:

• you have:
  • a bachelor/master's in engineering or a previous experience in a similar role
  • experience in the lighting/construction industry
• you are:
  • communicative, flexible and stress resistant
  • a team player with a can-do mentality
  • results-oriented
  • pragmatic and a strong organizer
• you are able to:
  • persuade and convince internal and external stakeholders based on knowledge and insight
  • express yourself in Dutch, French and English on a level that suits the challenges of a role as GM
