Our client is a large international company with ambitious growth plans. An important part of these ambitious growth plans is intended to be realized through active and targeted acquisitions, at home and abroad. In this context, our client wishes to strengthen the internal M&A team.
As a financial advisor, you will take on a senior role in the M&A team with regard to the financial aspects in all M&A projects.
You will be involved in all different phases of the M&A projects: financial analysis of possible target companies, the execution of financial due diligence investigations, supporting closing transactions and supervising the post-closing integration,... .
You will work closely together with your other colleagues from the M&A team, as well as with external advisors and experts at home and abroad. In addition to mergers and acquisitions, you also support special business projects, such as: real estate investments, strategic financing operations or other investment projects in tech start-ups and scale-ups.

- Financially analyzing and valuing possible target companies and determining possible financial risks in transactions.
- Developing financial models to assess historical and future financial performance and refine valuations.
- Participate in financial due diligence investigations.
- Project-based management of various external parties, such as investment banks, funds and financial advisors.
- Participate in negotiating financial terms and structures in transaction documents.
- Report findings and formulating recommendations to management.
Profile
- You have a master's degree in finance.
- You can rely on a minimum of 2 to 5 years of relevant financial experience in M&A, corporate finance or private equity.
- You have thorough knowledge of financial analyses, financial due diligence and financial models used in an M&A environment.
- You have a good knowledge of Dutch, French and English. Knowledge of other European languages ??(e.g. German, Spanish) is a bonus.
