Facility Manager
Job description
As the Facility Manager your responsibilities will be as follows:
Facility Operations Management: Oversee all aspects of facility management, including routine maintenance, technical repairs, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations across the site.
Leadership: Build, develop, and lead a high-performing Hard Services Team, guiding and motivating the team to ensure efficient and effective facility operations.
Project Management: Lead and manage industrial renovation projects and site expansions, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.
Technical Support: Provide technical expertise for building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and other critical infrastructure. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues as they arise.
Health & Safety Compliance: Ensure all facilities meet safety and regulatory standards. Enforce best practices for health, safety, and environmental compliance across the site.
Vendor & Contractor Management: Manage relationships with third-party vendors and contractors, ensuring that service levels are met and projects are executed in a cost-effective and efficient manner.
Budgeting & Cost Control: Manage facility budgets, tracking and reporting on expenditures, and ensuring financial targets are met.
Stakeholder Communication: Act as the main point of contact for internal stakeholders regarding facility performance and project progress.
Profile
Thje Ideal Facility Manager should have/be:
Fluency in French, Dutch, and English (both written and verbal).
Strong technical background in facility management, engineering, or related fields.
Proven track record in managing renovation projects and industrial site expansions, with a solid grasp of project management principles.
In-depth knowledge of hard services, including HVAC systems, electrical, plumbing, and general building maintenance.
Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to effectively lead and inspire a technical team.
Strong budgeting and cost control skills.
Knowledge of health and safety regulations and environmental compliance in an industrial setting.
Bachelor's degree in Facility Management, Engineering, or related fields.
Relevant certifications in Facility Management or Project Management (e.g., IFMA, PMP) are a plus.
Experience working in an international manufacturing environment.
