Our client is a multidisciplinary engineering and design office. They are a full-service provider for the construction sector, with an in-house team of experienced architects and engineers.
The company has been active for over 50 years and employs around 70 staff members. Today, the second generation is leading the company.
To support their continued growth, they are currently looking for an Infrastructure Designer.
Draftsman infrastructure
Job description
- Assist the architectural design team with the site layout and positioning of buildings and structures.
- Develop design concepts and translate them into detailed technical drawings.
- Design the layout of outdoor areas, including parking lots, roads, and associated sewer systems.
- Prepare infrastructure drawings using AutoCAD and/or Revit.
- Dimension drainage systems for rainwater, wastewater, and process water, and select appropriate materials for implementation.
- Prepare detailed construction plans and quantity take-offs (bills of quantities).
- Analyze and accurately apply technical guidelines and standards
- Coordinate drawings with colleagues and supervisors to ensure consistency and quality.
Profile
- You hold a Master’s degree in Industrial Sciences – Construction or are an Industrial Engineer,
- or you have a Bachelor’s degree in Architectural Drafting, Architectural Assistant, or Applied Architecture.
- Preferably, you have experience as a draftsman, particularly in sewerage and roadworks projects.
- You have a good knowledge of Standard Specification 250 (Standaardbestek 250).
- You are experienced with design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, or equivalent programs.
- You are familiar with infrastructure projects, including relevant regulations and standards.
- You work independently, accurately, and have a proactive attitude.
- You possess strong communication skills and enjoy working in a multidisciplinary team.
- You are motivated and eager to expand your expertise as a technical draftsman.
