Amador Bioscience (AmadorBio) is a global provider (CN, US, EU) of integrated clinical development services. As a leading partner for biotherapeutics R&D success, we drive the development of new drugs by providing the complete chain of clinical development services, aligned to the strictest international standards.
Our Belgium site currently offers pharmacometrics services, which we are now expanding to clinical research and later also bioanalytical services. We are looking for a Business Development Manager Belgium who is able to represent all service lines of Amador in the EU market.

Job description

The Business Development Manager, CRO, Belgium is responsible for building relationships and provide strategic direction in helping Amador Bioscience’s growth.  The target audience of our services are the pharma's, biotech, and Contract Research Organizations (CRO). The ideal candidate will have proven ability to work collaboratively and execute business development programs with the goal of delivering quality services and help move research forward. This position will report to the Director of Operations Belgium.

This is what we want you to do at Amador Bioscience:
  • Establish, maintain, and develop business relationships with existing and potential customers. Proactively establish relationships at higher levels of key accounts to anticipate needs and improve customer satisfaction.
  • Effectively and efficiently manages the entire new business sales pipeline to ensure that the time to close is continually improved and business goals are met.
  • Represent the company at industry trade shows, sales meetings, marketing workshops and other special events as required. Host and coordinate customer visits.
  • Collaborate with the US and China BD team


What your background should look like
  • Bachelors degree in a related field
  • A minimum of 3 years of demonstrated and successful direct new customer acquisition sales experience including territory prospecting, individual customer needs analysis, tailored proposal development, and successful presentation.

  • Strong business acumen in areas of negotiations, pipeline management, verbal and communication skills, territory management and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to rapidly build trust and credibility with prospective customers to determine needs and challenge customer mindsets.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with internal business partners.
  • Strong analytical skills; quick thinker
  • Highly competitive and goal oriented
  • Fluent in English
  • Creative, focused, passionate, driven and disciplined
