AGO Office: Backend Developer
Job description
Voor onze klant, een internationale referentie op het gebied van hightech coating-systemen, zijn wij op zoek naar een Backend Developer met een ondernemende mindset. In deze rol bouw je mee aan de fundamenten van een innovatief softwareplatform dat data uit complexe industriële omgevingen verzamelt en analyseert. Je werkt in een jonge, groeiende softwareafdeling waar gewerkt wordt met de nieuwste technologieën en waar jouw input een direct effect heeft op de machines van de toekomst.
Ontwerpen, ontwikkelen en onderhouden van cruciale backend modules voor het softwareplatform
Ontwikkelen van toepassingen voor real-time besturing en data-acquisitie van complexe coatingmachines
Implementeren van geavanceerde data logging en langdurige opslag via time-series optimalisatie
Fungeren als de onmisbare schakel tussen de technische machine-toepassing en de kernactiviteiten van engineering en softwareontwikkeling
Samenwerken met diverse stakeholders, cross-functionele teams en onderaannemers om de klantbehoeften technisch te vertalen
Occasioneel internationaal reizen om klanten te bezoeken en diepgaand inzicht te krijgen in het gebruik van de software in de praktijk

For our client, a leading international player in high-tech machine building and coating technology, we are looking for a Backend Developer with an entrepreneurial mindset. In this role, you will help build the foundations of an innovative software platform that collects and analyzes data from complex industrial environments. You will join a young, growing software department that works with the latest technologies and where your input directly impacts the machines of the future.
Your Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain crucial backend modules for the software platform
Develop applications for real-time control and data acquisition of complex coating machines
Implement advanced data logging and long-term storage using time-series optimization
Act as the essential link between technical machine applications and core engineering/software development activities
Collaborate with various stakeholders, cross-functional team members, and subcontractors to translate customer needs into technical solutions
Occasionally travel internationally to meet customers and gain deep insights into how the software is used in practice
Profile
Je beschikt over een bachelor- of masterdiploma in Computer Science of een gelijkwaardige technische richting
Sterke kennis van C# en .NET Core is essentieel
Je bent vertrouwd met of hebt grote interesse in:
ASP.NET en moderne API-architectuur
PostgreSQL en TimescaleDB
REST, gRPC en HTTP-gebaseerde communicatie
OAuth en authenticatieprotocollen
CI/CD, Git, Docker en Kubernetes
Ervaring in backend development is een troef, maar ook gedreven schoolverlaters zijn van harte welkom
Analytische mindset met het vermogen om complexe, industriële problemen op te lossen
Zelfstandig, georganiseerd en communicatief sterk in een cross-functionele omgeving
Vloeiende beheersing van het Engels (mondeling en schriftelijk)
Affiniteit met industriële omgevingen en machinebouw is een groot pluspunt

You hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or an equivalent technical field
Strong knowledge of C# and .NET Core is essential
You are familiar with or have a strong interest in:
ASP.NET and modern API architecture
PostgreSQL and TimescaleDB
REST, gRPC, and HTTP-based communication
OAuth and authentication protocols
CI/CD, Git, Docker, and Kubernetes
Experience in backend development is a plus, but motivated graduates are also very welcome to apply
An analytical mindset with the ability to solve complex industrial problems
Self-organized and comfortable working in cross-functional teams
Fluent in English (both written and spoken)
Affinity with industrial/technical environments and machine building is a significant advantage
