Types of integrations

Jobat jobpost Service

JobPost is a webservice that allows to add, update or remove jobs from the Jobat website and partner network.
When the service is called and the consumer is authenticated and authorized, internally a job object is created which will contain all the necessary data to create, update, remove or test the job.
The file contains all new, update and/or to be deleted files.

Jobat XML SETUP

This document contains all the information required to set-up an XML job feed via FTP.
A new XML file will be processed every hour and contains 1 job per file.

Jobat Custom feed

This document contains all the information required to set-up an custom job feed.
You provide us an XML file in a url or an FTP location.
A custom feed will contain all online jobs and will be processed every 12 hours.
When a job is removed from the file, the job will be put offline.

Best practices

This document also contains a checklist in order to optimise your jobs and get optimal results.

• Always send your files with all fields in the correct order as described in the documentation, even when they are empty.
• For job descriptions we only support the following tags: paragraph, breaks, lists, strong/bold, and italic tags.
  Emoticons, tables and title tags will be automatically removed.
• Use a custom layout for your jobs in order to make your job offer more attractive.
  You can create one or more templates in the Jobat Back office.
  We strongly recommend to use a maximum height of 200px for a header image, otherwise the candidate needs to scroll to read the job description.
• Always use a location like zipcode or regionid
• Do not send multiple jobs with the same job ID, only one will be published.
